Job summary

Standard School District is seeking a Technology/Information System Technician II for the Education Service Center. You will administer districtwide technology and information systems under the supervision of the Director of Technology and Information Systems.

Three years of networking and systems administration experience are required, along with knowledge of operating systems—Chrome OS, Linux, and Windows—and related network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience managing complex local-area and wide-area networking and systems administration.
• Knowledge of voice, data, and video telecommunications technology; network hardware and software; project management; operating systems (Chrome OS, Linux, and Windows).
• Must have a valid California driver’s license and transportation to travel between school sites; monthly car allowance.

Responsibilities

• Administer overall technology and information systems districtwide.
• Assist in planning and implementing districtwide IT projects.
• Coordinate with the Director, Technology and Information Systems and other supervisors.
• Ensure network security and system reliability across sites.
