Job summary

The University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas seeks an IT Specialist I (Technical Support) to provide comprehensive technical assistance for computer hardware/software, desk phones, mobile devices, and AV equipment across campuses. You will troubleshoot, image and deploy equipment, support events, and maintain documentation for users.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in IT, familiarity with Windows 10, M365, MS Office, and MS Teams, plus strong customer service and communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology or 1–2 years related experience.
• Familiar with Windows 10, M365, Microsoft Office products, MS Teams.
• A+ certification and familiarity with MACs are desirable.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Affinity with the mission of the University of Saint Mary.
• Positive, professional, customer-focused image for the university.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a professional and confidential manner.
• Must pass required background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service for the end user’s technology needs by phone, in person or remote support.
• Document all calls and work orders in the KACE service desk.
• Respond to KACE requests and assist in troubleshooting issues.
