Job summary

BrainStation is seeking an IT Specialist to handle level 1 support tickets and facilitate new hire hardware deployment within the operations team. The role focuses on keeping the office productive and is ideal for IT Specialists with 1–2 years of experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining hardware inventory, handling IT tickets to meet SLAs, researching new tech, and clear communication with team members.

Qualifications

• Ubiquiti/Meraki hardware and software experience is an asset.
• WiFi and Networking experience is an asset.
• IT System Administrator technical degree/background is an asset.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
• Experience with the following platforms: MacOS, iOS, Android.
• Experience with Kandji or other MDM platform
• Experience with SoC2/IT Audit processes an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hardware inventory and manage device repairs.
• Manage IT tickets in a timely manner to meet SLAs.
• Research new technology and tools and share those findings with the team.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all members of our team.
