Kraken Kinetics in Pinehurst, NC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the front-line resource for employees, owning day-to-day device support and ensuring devices stay configured and up to date.

This role focuses on front-line support, device lifecycle tasks for Windows, macOS, and iOS, onboarding/offboarding, and adherence to security standards set by IT leadership and our Cybersecurity & Compliance Manager.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in IT help desk or desktop support.
• Experience managing Windows, macOS and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 GCC or GCC High.
• Strong customer service and clear communication.
• Ability to follow security standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 device and connectivity support.
• Own the help desk intake, triage, resolution, and escalation.
• Manage device lifecycle: imaging, issuance, configuration, maintenance, and retirement.
• Onboard/offboard employees with hardware setup and retrieval.
• Train staff on secure use of Microsoft 365 GCC High tools.
• Maintain support documentation and knowledge base.
