Specialists provide hardware and software analysis, installation, and maintenance; train users on departmental programs; and support county systems. The I level is journey-level sub-professional; II is first professional level; III is full journey-level with independence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, investigate and resolve computer-related problems on a departmental level.
• Install hardware and software; improve and modify systems.
• Provide training and instruction on department programs and procedures.
• Coordinate and facilitate use of county and state systems and programs.
• Possibly train and advise users; support PC users.
