Job summary

Campbell County Health is seeking an IT Support Specialist to be the primary contact for technical support at our Gillette, WY site. You will install and configure end-user hardware and software, troubleshoot devices, and assist with network and systems issues while following policy and documentation standards.

You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve problems, documenting procedures and supporting a responsive IT department for staff and clinicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certificate or two-year technical degree preferred.
• A+ certification preferred (within 12 months).
• Experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems required.
• Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) / VMware Horizon preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for all incoming help desk calls and emails.
• Maintain help desk tracking and document problem descriptions; assist with resolution.
• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and other end user equipment.
• Troubleshoot network outages and maintain user accounts; work with network and systems teams.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software purchases and quotes; communicate with departments.
• Maintain documentation of deployment procedures and end-user configurations.
