Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract IT support professional in Minneapolis, MN to provide desktop, telecom and network infrastructure support across a variety of devices and services. The role involves resolving incidents, fulfilling requests and coordinating with regional IT teams to ensure smooth operations.

The position is fully onsite with a pay rate of $23.00–$25.00 per hour. Candidates should have strong customer service, Windows 10, Active Directory and hardware troubleshooting skills, plus

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop, network and telecom support in a corporate environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and peripherals across multiple devices.
• Familiar with service management practices and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Process service requests from requirements through delivery and fulfillment.
• Provide desktop troubleshooting and hardware/software support for desktops, laptops, tablets and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and support telecom equipment including Avaya and Vocera systems.
• Install and configure preconfigured network gear and document switch configurations.
• Maintain ServiceNow tickets and meet SLA expectations for updates and closures.
• Participate in project meetings and create and update technical documentation.
• Follow ITIL best practices and change management procedures.
