Job summary

TEKsystems in Austin, TX is seeking a Desktop Tech for 100% onsite capacity. Provides Level 2 support for 1500+ desktops, laptops, and peripherals, troubleshooting Windows and Mac, Office 365, and VPN access. The role is a contract-to-hire, suitable for candidates with strong ticketing and ITIL-style processes.

The position emphasizes on-site work five days a week, with benefits and a solid pay range. You will work with multiple IT teams to maintain desktop standards and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

2+ years of tech support including Windows and Mac.
Experience with workstation setup, refreshes, conference room support.
Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and corporate networks.
Mobile device management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provides Tier 2 end-user support for desktops and peripherals.
Responds to incidents in the ticketing system within SLAs.
Deploys and troubleshoots devices, printers, and networked peripherals.
Configures Windows and Mac operating systems and Office apps.
Collaborates with IT teams and documents troubleshooting steps.
