German American Bank seeks an IT Support Desk Specialist to deliver Tier I technical support to internal users and assist with desktop administration and system projects across the Columbus, Ohio area.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, manage user accounts, and contribute to technology upgrades while collaborating with the IT team to maintain secure, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Computer Technology, MIS, CIS, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support or help desk in a networked environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I technical support via phone, email, and chat to internal users across locations.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot user workstations including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts, access permissions, and mailboxes.
• Support Microsoft applications and banking systems in a Windows environment.
