The Ohio Art Company is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to provide first-level support across the organization. The role covers desktop support, printers, basic networking, and user account administration, with opportunities to grow within the IT department.

You will handle on-site and remote issues, assist with hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 applications, and help ensure smooth IT operations across Bryan, OH facilities and partner sites.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR 1–2 years of hands-on IT support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license for travel between facilities.

• Provide on-site and remote diagnosis and resolution of desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware including PCs, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
• Support Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Respond to first-level help desk requests.
• Document major project support activities and resolutions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network and local printers.
• Manage print queues and resolve printing issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for printer maintenance and supply management.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Assist with network cable runs and patch panel connections.
• Monitor network performance and report issues to senior staff and vendors.
• Perform basic switch port configuration under supervision.
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Active Directory.
• Manage group memberships and basic permissions.
• Execute scheduled backup procedures and verify completion.
• Perform test restores as directed to validate backup integrity.
