Job summary

German American Bank is seeking an IT Support Desk Specialist to deliver internal technical support and assist with networked system maintenance. You will resolve desktop, software, and connectivity issues and participate in ongoing IT projects with the team.

The role requires a customer-focused problem solver with strong technical aptitude and a proactive mindset, plus at least 1 year of help desk experience and an associate degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technical support or help desk experience in a networked environment.
• Experience supporting Windows-based banking software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I support via phone, email, and chat for internal users.
• Set up and troubleshoot workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and mailboxes.
• Support Microsoft applications and banking systems in Windows environment.
• Prioritize and escalate tickets as needed.
• Provide on-call support in rotation.
