City of Osage Beach is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide intermediate technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and support system administration tasks.

You will work under the IT Director, maintain asset inventories, help deploy security measures, and train staff on best practices. This on-site role requires strong customer service and teamwork.

Formación

• Associates degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of hardware, OS, and enterprise software.
• Experience providing intermediate technical support.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary technical resource for initial support issues and troubleshooting.
• Assist in installation, configuration, and lifecycle maintenance of computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Support administration and maintenance of City networks, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Perform intermediate troubleshooting of network connectivity and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• Implement, support, and enforce IT security policies and awareness.
• Provide user training and documentation on systems and security best practices.
• Document incidents and configurations for reference.
• Collaborate on technology projects and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Director.
