Job Summary

Private Client Select Insurance, LLC (PCS) is seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide premium IT support services at our St. Petersburg office. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-touch, in-person and remote support, managing endpoint provisioning, and optimizing the user experience across a modern Microsoft-based enterprise environment.

This is a hands-on role ideal for a problem-solver and team player with deep expertise in Microsoft’s ecosystem (Intune, Office 365, Entra ID), Azure and AWS fundamentals, conditional access management, and automation of end-user compute workflows. You’ll be a vital extension of our infrastructure services group, bringing a local presence and proactive support to one of our key office locations.

Key Responsibilities

End-User Support & Device Lifecycle Management

  • Deliver outstanding in-person IT support to employees in the St. Petersburg office and provide remote IT support to home users and remote satellite site employees, maintaining PCS’s white-glove service standards.
  • Manage device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle through Microsoft Intune and Intune Autopilot.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows and Microsoft 365 issues, ensuring a smooth and secure user experience.
  • Lead onboarding activities for new employees and contribute to continuous improvement of onboarding processes.

Identity Management & Access Management

  • Administer Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Manage user identities, devices, roles, and groups in Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
  • Implement and maintain Conditional Access Policies to enforce secure authentication and resource access.
  • Manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and enforce security best practices through Entra ID P2.
  • Support SCIM integrations for automated user provisioning and lifecycle management across cloud and SaaS platforms.
  • Automate user and device provisioning workflows using Microsoft Intune, PowerShell, and other cloud-native tools.
  • Develop and maintain Intune Autopilot configurations for zero-touch device enrollment and deployment.
  • Collaborate with central IT teams to improve automation and standardization of endpoint, identity, and application management processes.
  • Provide Tier 2–3 support for cloud services, primarily in Azure, with occasional coordination of AWS environments.
  • Support hybrid identity and device management in environments utilizing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365.
  • Assist with compliance and governance initiatives for secure access to cloud and on-prem resources.

ITIL Management

  • Utilize Freshservice (or similar ITSM platforms) to triage, resolve, and escalate service tickets in accordance with SLAs.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on IT support experience in enterprise or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Deep expertise in:
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access Policies, MFA
  • SCIM and identity provisioning
  • Experience with Azure (required); AWS exposure preferred.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and workflow automation (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Freshworks, ServiceNow, or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service orientation, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
  • Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Additional Microsoft 365 or Intune-related certifications are a plus
