StuartCo Corporate Office is looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist to join the team in Bloomington, MN. The IT Support Specialist performs initial triage and resolution of incidents reported by end users. This individual responds to telephone calls, emails, and online requests for technical support for end users on a variety of issues. As a primary point of contact for client and vendor technical support, the IT Support Specialist plays a critical role in shaping the company's image and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Working Hours/Location

Typically, FT40, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a scheduled lunch period. You may be requested to attend meetings or participate in other functions/activities before or after a regular workday and/or on weekends.The general working location will be the StuartCo Corporate office, located at 1000 West 80th St, Bloomington, MN 55420.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to approximately 200 end users across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows 11 desktops and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Install and maintain network equipment, including routers, wireless access points, and network printers.
  • Track tickets and project status using Atera Helpdesk software.
  • Set up and manage smartphones, tablets, and remote access tools.
  • Diagnose and remediate issues related to malware, system performance, and software conflicts.
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Exchange 365.
  • Document support activities and maintain accurate logs of technical issues and solutions.
  • Evaluate and install patches/upgrades and resolve software-related problems, maintaining data integrity and security.

Job StandardsTechnical Skills & Certifications

  • A+ and MCP certification required; Atera and Office 365 experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, VPNs, and routing concepts.
  • Experience with remote support tools such as Atera, VNC, or MDM platforms.
  • Knowledge of desktop system imaging technologies and experience in their use.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and system performance, and remedying at the component level and or replacement.
