Job summary

Reading Cooperative Bank invites a Desktop Support Technician to join our Information Technology team. You will deliver timely technical support, set up and maintain workstations, and assist employees across multiple locations.

This role emphasizes customer-focused problem solving and reliable technology service. Ideal candidates will have a related Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in IT, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two years of IT experience in a technical role.
• Experience building and/or supporting workstations.
• Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, ITIL or CompTIA A+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure bank workstations from the OS up.
• Onboard new employees by creating accounts in required systems.
• Be the main help desk contact via phone, email, or in person.
• Install and maintain LAN hardware and software for daily use.
• Assist users with network access and software usage.
• Install, repair, and upgrade computers, printers, and phones.
• Coordinate with vendors for workstation and printer repairs.
• Train users on software and equipment usage.
• Travel regularly among bank locations.
