Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an IT Support & Operations Specialist to join our Internal IT team in San Francisco. The role is onsite and focuses on hands-on end-user support with opportunities to improve processes and documentation.

Expect 50-60% daily support and 40-50% projects and process improvements in a collaborative environment. The position requires 2-5 years IT support/operations experience, strong customer service, and comfort with macOS.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in IT support, desktop support, help desk, IT operations or similar.
• Experience troubleshooting macOS devices.
• Familiar with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft 365, Notion.
• Basic IAM concepts: SSO, MFA, user provisioning, groups, permissions.
• Strong customer-service mindset balancing technical resolution with employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support to employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, app, and account-access issues.
• Support primarily macOS devices and manage laptops and peripherals.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, account provisioning and access reviews.
• Document troubleshooting steps and maintain IT documentation.
