Job summary

August Bioservices is seeking a Manager of IT Support to lead end-user IT services across office, manufacturing, and laboratories in a regulated setting. You will oversee incident resolution, security, and lifecycle management while collaborating with Quality and Engineering to ensure compliant technology delivery.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong technical expertise in endpoint management and identity services, and the ability to align IT with GxP and data integrity requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in hardware, software, networking, and security.
• Experience with validated systems and IT quality processes (change control, audits).
• Experience supporting manufacturing or other regulated environments.
• Familiarity with ERP/LIMS/MES/QMS in life sciences.
• ITIL/CompTIA/Microsoft/Cisco certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT support function, ensuring timely, professional resolution of issues and service requests.
• Supervise IT support staff, set objectives, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee the IT service management and ticketing platform, ensuring proper documentation and prioritization.
• Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and support metrics to improve response and resolution times.
• Provide IT support for office, manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and remote environments.
• Oversee administration of IT infrastructure, including servers, network gear, wireless, firewalls, and conferencing systems.
• Manage endpoint configuration, software deployment, OS updates, security patches, and device lifecycle.
• Maintain IT asset and software-license inventories, including lifecycle status and disposal records.
• Support identity/access management including MFA, access reviews, and privileged-access controls.
• Promote cybersecurity best practices and data-protection controls; support regulatory/compliance efforts (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other teams to align IT with operations and compliance.
