Job summary

Switchback Medical seeks an IT Manager to oversee day-to-day IT operations across our clinical and manufacturing environments in Brooklyn Park, MN. This hands-on role troubleshoots hardware and software, supports end users, and maintains systems while guiding vendor relations and budgeting in a regulated setting.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of IT support experience, strong Windows and Microsoft 365 skills, and familiarity with AD, networking, and CSV/validation practices for regulated

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years hands-on IT support experience including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and basic networking (Wi‑Fi, VPN).
• Excellent communication and customer service for office and manufacturing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals across offices and manufacturing environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues; manage tickets from opening to resolution.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, monitors, phones, printers, and end-user devices.
• Manage user accounts including password resets, permissions, onboarding/offboarding.
• Support network connectivity, including Wi‑Fi and VPN access; perform system updates and deployments.
• Maintain hardware/software inventory and assist with budget planning; participate in IT projects and knowledge base documentation.
• Collaborate with IT vendors/ MSPs and monitor vendor relationships and spend.
