Job summary

OpsTech IT, part of Amazon Operations, seeks an IT support technician in San Diego to sustain and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure across Windows, Mac and Linux environments. You will perform data cabling, systems administration, and provide technical support to ensure high availability during production hours.

Required: 1+ year with Windows Server AD/DFS/SCCM; 2+ years troubleshooting in multi-user environments; 2+ years PC repair/deployment; 2+ years networking (DNS/DHCP/SSL/TCP-IP);

Qualifications

• 1+ year with Windows Server technologies (AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM)
• 2+ years troubleshooting in multi-user, high-availability environments
• 2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation
• 1+ year delivering IT client/server/network services
• 2+ years networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP)
• 2+ years supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux in a corporate environment
• 2+ years maintaining a corporate network environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years computer networking experience (preferred)
• Experience supporting video/teleconferencing equipment (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Handle network engineering, troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration across varied environments
• Keep infrastructure networking and computing systems available during production hours
• Provide analytical and technical support to improve IT solutions
• Manage local technical projects
• Maintain and develop policies, procedures, and operational processes
• Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies
