Job summary

Smith+Nebhew is seeking an IT Support professional in Pittsburgh, PA, to troubleshoot, configure, and maintain desktop and mobile devices across office environments. The role involves hands-on support for hardware, software, networking, and AV tech with onsite and hybrid flexibility.

You will document incidents in SNOW, assist with robotics development support, manage assets and licensing, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical work experience.
• 1–3 years of desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows and Office support.
• Experience with Active Directory and user administration.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem solving skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to communicate technical info to non-technical audiences.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good time management and process improvement focus.
• Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator and CompTIA A+ preferred; Linux+ a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, networking, and IT systems.
• Install, configure, image, test, diagnose and troubleshoot laptops/desktops/mobile devices and software.
• Support mobile devices (iPhones/iPads) and document incidents in SNOW, routing tickets as needed.
• Provide Ubuntu and networking support for robotics development.
• Maintain asset inventory and licensing; support remote connectivity, printers, copiers, video conferencing, and vendor warranty claims.
• Act as onsite hands-on support for IT teams and vendors as required.
