Job summary

Courser is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Riverside, CA to deliver frontline IT support for employees and clients. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues while documenting steps and updating the knowledge base.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft networks, Active Directory, and PowerShell. On-site work with opportunities for certifications. Courser supports growth and development.

Qualifications

• +2 years experience with Microsoft Networks, firewall configuration, network configuration, workstation setup and installation, print management, integrating cloud technology.
• network and endpoint security, TCP/IP protocols, Active Directory and Group Policy management, Powershell, technical process and procedure documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support via phone, email, and ticketing systems within SLAs.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and hardware for users.
• Manage user accounts including password resets and permissions.
• Troubleshoot VPN access, Wi-Fi, and network printer issues.
• Document solutions and update knowledge base; escalate complex issues when needed.
• Monitor IT systems and networks to prevent disruptions.
• Support IT projects like upgrades, deployments, and expansions.
• Ensure data and systems security best practices are followed.
