Job summary

COURSER is seeking an IT Support Services II to join our dynamic IT team in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate will handle advanced technical issues, mentor junior staff, and contribute to IT projects while ensuring excellent user support.

Responsibilities include system administration, troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices, and maintaining thorough documentation. A 3–5 year background in corporate IT and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in IT support or system administration in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS; servers and cloud environments.
• Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA, Zendesk, ConnectWise; CompTIA A+/Network+/MCSE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-tier technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in system administration of servers, workstations, and cloud environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices.
• Respond to user service requests with exceptional customer service.
• Maintain documentation of IT support processes and configurations.
• Mentor and train junior IT staff on best practices.
• Participate in IT projects, including software deployments and network upgrades.
• Monitor systems and networks for performance and security.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Track incident trends and root causes to improve services.
