Job summary
Discovery Land Company is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join the Information Technology Department at one of its locations. The role focuses on providing technical assistance to internal users, ensuring smooth operation of desktops, servers, and software across the organization.
The candidate will handle installation, testing, troubleshooting, and support for both local and remote users, with opportunities to grow within the IT infrastructure and project management areas.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT experience.
- Proven experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and business apps.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Industry certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to internal users across desktops, servers, and networks.
- Install, test, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Diagnose complex problems with software, hardware, and networks.
- Support remote users and troubleshoot via phone or remote access.
- Coordinate with IT Director on advancing infrastructure and projects.
