Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is recruiting a Support Center Agent in Modesto, CA to acknowledge and resolve IT issues for internal customers. You will receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve end-user help requests using diagnostic tools, with escalation as needed.

This role pays $20.88–$24.72 hourly and operates on a 7-day rotating shift schedule. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required, along with experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• 2 Year/Associates Degree and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Word is preferred.
• Customer service/phone support experience.

Responsibilities

• Answers all types of requests to the Support Center from multiple communication channels.
• Creates and assigns tickets appropriately after obtaining all needed information to address the issue
• Contacts IT users to triage, gather needed information, and resolve any issue they can before assigning tickets to the next level for support
• Monitors the Support Desk queue for timely completion of issue tickets, follows up on calls if needed, and ensures satisfactory issue resolution with our customers.
• Performs other help desk duties as assigned
