Job summary

Electronic Transaction Consultants Corporation seeks an IT Specialist to support IT operations, coordinate projects, manage inventory, and drive IAM automation. The role involves troubleshooting, policy implementation, and occasional travel to support multiple locations and vendor engagements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS and 3–5 years in technical support or IT coordination, with strong problem solving and communication skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT or CS is required.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Familiarity with IAM, automation, and IT security principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for computer systems, software and hardware.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to ensure timely resolution.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
• Respond to service desk escalations and resolve network issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in coordinating IT projects and tracking milestones.
• Prepare project documentation and reports.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and licenses.
• Coordinate procurement and disposal of IT assets.
• Conduct regular IT inventory audits.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Monitor performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Monitor uptime and resource utilization with monitoring tools.
• Assist in IT security policy enforcement.
• Automate tasks and provisioning with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Provide user training and travel as needed.
• Develop user guides and conduct IT orientation.
• Ensure IT policy compliance and prepare metrics reports.
