Job summary

The Archdiocese of Hartford is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This role serves as a primary point of contact for staff IT support requests, resolving hardware, software, networking, and systems issues to keep staff productive.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical troubleshooting with excellent customer service and a commitment to supporting diocesan missions. Travel and a diverse technology environment may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years IT experience including automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff remotely and on-site.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, printers, and telecom.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade devices and software.
• Develop and maintain automation/scripts to improve efficiency.
• Support testing, deployment, and system upgrades.
