Job summary

Westfield Health Group is seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to provide first-line technical support across the organisation from Sheffield. You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, support Microsoft 365 and Windows OS, and maintain documentation for incidents and requests.

You will act as the frontline contact, log issues in Zendesk, assist in user onboarding, and help maintain IT assets while providing user-friendly guidance and basic training to colleagues.

Qualifications

• Basic IT knowledge and troubleshooting
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365 apps
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting incl. SSD/RAM
• Good communication and multi-tasking
• Familiarity with AD, EntraID and admin centers
• Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk)

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT queries via phone, email, or in person
• Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral issues
• Support software including Microsoft 365 and Windows
• Log incidents using Zendesk and document resolutions
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
• Assist in setup of new users and hardware deployments
• Maintain asset records & IT policy compliance
• Provide basic user training on IT systems
• Contribute to knowledge base articles
