Job summary

AMS-Staffing-Inc seeks an IT Support Analyst in Houston, TX, for a full-time, in-office role with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 remote). The position targets professionals with IT support experience, preferably in a legal environment, reporting to the IT Director.

The role emphasizes Tier 1 help desk duties, onboarding/offboarding, inventory management, and collaboration across Teams and Ivanti systems. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows 11, Office Suite, and Active Directory.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Understanding of Group Policies, file and print services, and event log analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Teams Telephony, and Ivanti systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 help desk support via ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues for onsite and remote users.
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain IT inventory and manage equipment check-in/out.
• Support anti-virus software, patch management, and network troubleshooting.
• Help maintain the help desk portal and document internal how-tos.
• Set up and support conference room tech and user phone/headset systems.
