Job summary

PENN Entertainment is hiring an IT professional responsible for supporting property user interfaces, networks, and end-user devices. The role involves installing and maintaining PC hardware, AV systems, and embedded devices while ensuring service tickets are resolved promptly.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer tech with several years of experience, strong MS Office and Windows knowledge, and the ability to work with vendors and leadership to improve systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in computer technology or related field with 3 years of experience or training.
• Wide knowledge of technologies including computing devices, OS, networks, printers and peripherals, and various software applications.
• Experience with operating systems, software tools and PM methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and networking fundamentals; experience with AD administration.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office suites, hardware/software, imaging and restoration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain gaming permit and complete ServSafe Alcohol training.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Creates framework for property user profile interfaces as they relate to Company systems and networks.
• Analyzes hardware, software, and computer system specifications to determine property and business needs; collaborates with leadership on implementations.
• Performs installation, repair and preventative maintenance of PC equipment and related systems.
• Performs root cause analysis and creates procedures to prevent problems.
• Creates SOPs and user guides and contributes to technical documents.
• Demonstrates creativity in issue analysis and testing of applications.
• Performs user administration duties including account activation and termination.
• Installs and maintains audio-video systems, kiosks and embedded systems.
• Responds to and resolves service tickets in line with SLAs.
• Resolves end-user software/hardware problems and identifies technology needs.
• Operates and programs phone systems and maintains phone lists.
• Assists with inventory control for hardware/software and expedites service.
• Supports superior customer service per standards and programs.
• Assists remote access for vendor support and troubleshooting.
• Consults with vendors and leadership on application needs and system improvements.
• Acts as liaison with external vendors to improve customer service and reduce issues.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and reports issues to management.
• Performs all duties safely and responsibly.
