Job summary

Hylant invites motivated students and recent graduates to join its Information Technology Summer Internship. You will gain hands-on experience across cybersecurity, help desk, and software development disciplines within a leading insurance firm.

Expect mentorship from senior leaders, exposure to multiple offices nationwide, and opportunities to network with clients, carriers, and vendors. This paid internship supports professional growth and industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Major preferred in IT, Risk Management, Insurance, Business, or related fields.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Summer availability May 18–Aug 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining workstations and network connections.
• Help monitor systems for security threats and support incident response efforts.
• Participate in testing and documenting software applications or updates.
• Support data entry, system audits and inventory tracking.
• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure, cybersecurity, or software projects.
• Work under mentorship from Hylant leaders throughout the summer.
