Hylant invites energetic students to join its Information Technology Summer Internship, gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity, help desk, or software development at a leading insurance firm.

You’ll work with mentors, participate in a six-week introductory course, and engage in summer-long professional development to sharpen your skills and advance your career in the insurance sector.

Qualifications

• Rising junior, senior, or grad-level student with 3.0+ GPA.
• Ability to work from one of Hylant’s office locations nationwide.
• Available May 18–August 13, 2027.
• Interest in a long-term career in insurance.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities or part-time work recommended.
• Major in Risk Management and Insurance, Sales, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, IT, Business, HR, or Communications preferred but not required.
• Authorized to work for any U.S. employer; Hylant cannot provide H-1B visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Provide technical support to internal users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

About You

What you’ll need:

• Rising junior, senior, or graduate‑level standing at an accredited college or university, or graduated within the past seven months.
• Maintain an average GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Ability to work from one of Hylant’s office locations nationwide.
• Availability to work from May 18‑August 13, 2027, with some flexibility.
• Interest in a long‑term career in insurance.
• Involvement in extracurricular activities and/or part‑time job recommended.
• Major in Risk Management and Insurance, Sales, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, IT, Business, HR, or Communications preferred but not required.
• Authorized to work for any U.S. employer; Hylant cannot provide H‑1B visa sponsorship.

• Eligibility to apply for a $5,000 scholarship upon successful completion for juniors or seniors.

Training & Development

Participate in a six‑week “Intro to Insurance” self‑guided course covering industry terminology and practices.

Work collaboratively with mentors and Hylant leaders throughout the internship.

Participate in the Hylant Innovation Challenge, consulting with executive leadership on real business solutions.

Career Progression

Successful interns at junior or senior standing may be eligible for scholarships and long‑term career opportunities within the insurance industry.
