University Enterprises, Inc. is seeking student assistants in a learning capacity to work under IT staff supervision. The positions involve supporting desktop/laptop imaging, software deployment, and equipment surveys, with emphasis on high-quality customer service.

These part-time, non-benefited roles require enrollment in college, adherence to UEI policies, and willingness to work across Sacramento and Oakland locations, with flexible hours within a typical 8 AM–5 PM window.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
• Must be enrolled as a college student in regular terms with six-semester units (or nine quarter units) for undergrads; four-semester units (six quarters) for grads.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow instructions, organize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to work at different locations in Sacramento and Oakland.

Responsabilités

• Assist with staging and imaging of desktop/laptops, including MECM/SCCM deployment.
• Assist in surveying department computer equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, etc.).
• Support IT staff for appointments and walk-in issues; troubleshoot, research, and update requests in ServiceNOW.
