Job summary

The Phoenix Group Advisors, Inc. is seeking a Division Director to grow our IT staffing business and lead a team of technical recruiters in a hybrid New York office. You will personally bill, win new business, manage client relationships, coach recruiters, and drive division profitability while shaping our IT division's strategic direction.

This leadership role requires strong business development, data-driven decision making, and a proven track record of delivering placements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IT staffing or staffing agency roles.
• Proven track record generating new business and revenue growth.
• Experience coaching recruiters and leading teams.
• Ability to balance production with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own book of business with revenue targets.
• Win new clients through prospecting, referrals, and outreach.
• Develop relationships with technology leaders and hiring managers for direct hire, contract, and project staffing.
• Lead client discovery, qualify opportunities, and negotiate fees within guidelines.
• Expand existing accounts by identifying hiring needs, teams, and projects.
• Coach recruiters through regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, and training.
