Job summary

ISN seeks an IT Specialist to support Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12) credentialing across multiple locations. The role centers on technical support for system operations, enrollment, activation, and ICAM/USAccess activities, with a focus on reliability and security.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT support, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in credentialing or identity management. Proximity to Washington, DC is preferred for a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience incl. end-user support, hardware/software troubleshooting, system configuration, software deployment, and problem resolution.
• Experience supporting IT systems in geographically dispersed environments.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, system, and end-user issues with minimal supervision.
• Experience with identity management, credentialing, or related federal IT environments is preferred.
• Experience with HSPD-12, PIV credentialing, ICAM, USAccess, or related systems is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and related tools.
• Experience providing technical guidance or training to end users is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical resource for HSPD-12 system operations and support geographically dispersed locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, system, and end-user issues affecting credentialing operations.
• Support configuration, operation, maintenance, and deployment of systems for enrollment and activation.
• Provide technical support for ICAM-related processes and USAccess activities.
• Coordinate issue resolution with government stakeholders and program staff.
• Monitor deployed systems and perform maintenance to maintain availability.
• Develop technical documentation and reports on system operations and issues.
