Job summary

Peraton is seeking an IT Specialist to support a government customer with remote and in-person installs and break/fix incidents. You will troubleshoot a range of technologies, manage accounts, and monitor performance while ensuring SLAs are met.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, security fundamentals, and hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network devices. A TS clearance and Security+ certification are required.

Qualifications

• A degree in IT/CS-related fields or 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot system hardware and software.
• Diagnose and resolve customer-reported system incidents, problems, and events.
• Install and configure hardware, software, and peripheral equipment for system users per standards.
• Administer accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
• Monitor and report client-level computer system performance.
• Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches.
