Job summary

Amazon is seeking an ITS Support Engineer to empower Amazonians with reliable on-site IT services, including hardware and software troubleshooting for laptops, servers, and websites. You’ll be a key knowledge expert ensuring productivity and security for our corporate workforce.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and handle escalations while maintaining a high level of customer-focused service. This role includes on-call duties and occasional travel.

Qualifications

1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
2+ years of networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience
High school or equivalent diploma
Travel up to 15% of the time

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site, hands-on support diagnosing and resolving issues.
Assist with triage and elevate system or network outages to reduce downtime.
Understand and execute change management in a high availability environment.
Participate with partner teams and vendors on improvement projects and execution.
Effectively manage and oversee IT asset inventories.
Participate in hiring efforts, training and mentoring peers and new team members.
Continuously expand skills and knowledge of IT policies.
Occasional travel as needed.
Participate in 24/7 on-call duty for high-severity incidents
