Job summary

Prime Controls, L.P. seeks an IT Service Technician to support the day-to-day IT of our employees, handling hardware, software, and systems. You will prepare devices for issuance, triage IT requests, and train staff on Prime IT resources, ensuring smooth operations.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time on-site position with some travel to branch offices and job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft productivity suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous IT help desk experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares laptops and cell phones for issuance to employees according to IT standards.
• Responds to, triages, and resolves requests and incidents in the IT ticketing system.
• Provides training and orientation on IT resources including hardware and applications.
• Maintains an orderly work area and common/storage areas.
• Receives and processes incoming IT shipments.
• Provides outstanding customer service to maximize productivity.
• Arrives on time in business-casual attire.
• Participates in rotating on-call schedule for outside-hours support.
• Limited travel (<10%) to support branch offices and job sites.
