Job summary

Prime Controls, L.P. is seeking an IT Service Technician to support day-to-day IT operations for employees, provisioning laptops and devices, handling requests in the IT ticketing system, and delivering user training on IT resources.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with limited travel and a focus on providing excellent internal customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft productivity suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous IT help desk experience and/or extensive customer service experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepares laptops and cell phones to be issued to Prime IT employees according to Prime IT standards and processes.
• Responds to, triages, and/or resolves requests and incidents within our IT ticketing system.
• Provides training and orientation services to new and existing employees on Prime IT resources including hardware and applications.
• Maintains an orderly work area and assists in maintaining organized common/storage areas.
• Receives and processes incoming shipments addressed to IT.
• Provides outstanding customer service to colleagues to help maximize productivity.
• Arrives at work on time with a high level of personal hygiene dressed in business-casual attire.
• Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to provide IT request monitoring and response during limited hours outside of the regular business schedule.
• Limited travel (less than 10%) to provide direct support to branch offices and job sites.

Overview

As an IT Service Technician for Prime Controls, you will support the day-to-day business functions of Prime Controls’ employees as it pertains to using hardware, software, and systems.

A Typical Day at Prime Controls
