Job summary

Saracen Casino Resort is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, move, and maintain computer hardware and software across the Casino and remote offices. Under general supervision, you will support the IT team and ensure timely resolution of issues while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 3–5 years in IT, and a CompTIA A+ certification with potential for a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
3–5 years IT experience required.
CompTIA A+ certifications required or completed within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Log and track IT support tickets and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Completes work requests as directed by IT Operations Manager regarding installation of computer hardware and software and coordinating work with users.
Receives and responds to incoming requests / trouble tickets regarding problems related to the user environment.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Attend required training sessions and meetings.
Assist in other projects, as directed.
Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy, confidentiality and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
Must be able to maintain a valid Gaming License.
Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.
