Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an IT Process Engineer to drive IT service management within Health System Shared Services, aligning with ITIL and owning core processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Service Level, CMDB and IT Asset Management.

You will lead medium- to large-scale strategic initiatives, collaborate across departments to evaluate, design, and implement new tools, processes and workflows that enhance IT service delivery and process governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field with strong IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience in Change, Configuration and Problem Management.
• Four years of Tier I–III IT support experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium- to large-scale strategic ITSM initiatives with significant impact.
• Govern CMDB governance, service mapping and asset lifecycle management.
• Provide strategic direction and act as SME to resolve complex system challenges.
• Collaborate across teams to design and implement new tools and workflows.
