Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Clinical Applications Analyst within Health System Shared Services to support planning, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical information systems that improve patient care and operations.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, IT, and business partners to design, test, and deploy system solutions, develop functional specs, assess workflow impacts, and contribute to end-user training and change management to ensure successful adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in IT, clinical operations, or both.
• Experience gathering business requirements and supporting system implementations.
• Ability to develop technical or user documentation and strong communication.
• Knowledge of hospital systems and workflows; ability to troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, maintain, and evaluate clinical information systems.
• Support new systems, software upgrades, and ongoing optimization.
• Analyze, design, test, and implement clinical system solutions.
• Develop functional specifications and assess workflow impact.
