Minnesota State Colleges and Universities seeks an Information Technology Spec 1 to provide frontline IT support at Anoka-Ramsey campuses. This full-time on-site role focuses on diagnosing and resolving user issues, configuring lab and classroom tech, and delivering professional, clear communication to students, faculty, and staff.

Primary on-site duties with limited telework possible; the position requires teamwork, reliability, and a customer-service mindset to maintain high uptime and support

Qualifications

One (1) year of experience in IT Help Desk/Service Desk environment.
One (1) year of experience in customer service environment.
Demonstrated computer and software technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use new technology.
One (1) year of experience with Microsoft applications (e.g. MS Office, Active Directory, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve technology support tickets in-person and remotely.
Ensure technology is properly set up in labs and classrooms.
Communicate effectively in a team format and in one-on-one settings with students, faculty, and staff.
