The Service Desk Specialist will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve technology support tickets in-person and remotely as well as ensure technology is properly set up in labs and classrooms. The position requires the use of proper communication techniques in a team format and also in a one-on-one setting with students, faculty, and staff.
Because the position provides hands-on support for classrooms, labs, and campus users, it is primarily an on-site role. Limited telework may be available with supervisor approval when assigned responsibilities can be performed remotely and operational and campus support needs are met.
