Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. seeks an IT Service Support Specialist for our El Paso, TX location to deliver day-to-day technical support to end users, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

You will manage service tickets, perform Tier 1 troubleshooting, and coordinate with the IT team to resolve incidents promptly in a mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of IT support experience, strong customer service skills, and a basic understanding of computer hardware and IT

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or related role.
• Basic knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and IT peripherals.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.”
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to users.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and support processes.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; active DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, ticket, or in person.
• Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting for desktop hardware and peripherals.
• Create, update, track, and close IT service tickets per procedures.
• Assist with workstation setup and basic network connectivity issues.
• Escalate issues when needed and document troubleshooting steps.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment and service requests.
• Provide professional customer service to military and government personnel.
