Job summary

Office of the State Auditor in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Service Desk intern to gain hands-on IT experience. You'll work with our IT Division on daily tickets, assist employees with technology issues, and learn to independently close tickets under supervision.

Eligible rising junior or senior majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields must maintain a 3.0 GPA and commit to Spring 2027, 25–30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Willingness to learn on the job in an internal IT Service Desk environment.
• Spring 2027 start with a commitment of 25-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Service Desk with daily tickets and inquiries.
• Interact with employees to provide technology assistance and troubleshooting.
• Learn to independently close tickets under supervision of full-time staff.
