Job summary

The Scion Group LLC in Chicago is seeking an IT Support Specialist - I to be the first point of contact for IT requests, combining service desk and dispatcher duties. The role focuses on a Windows Server environment and a nationwide remote site portfolio.

You will handle tickets, guide users, escalate issues, and support end users with basic IT tasks while ensuring timely, quality service in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience providing help desk support.
• Ability to wear multiple hats on projects and shifts.
• Basic understanding of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, AD and networking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and user accounts and document steps.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 technicians when needed.
• Monitor tickets, assign to technicians, and track SLAs to ensure timely resolutions.
