NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead large-scale VMware and alternate hypervisor migration initiatives. You will drive migration leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure minimal service disruption during complex cutovers.
You bring deep virtualization expertise, hands-on migration delivery, and a proven track record in data center, hybrid, and cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Experience leading large-scale VMware or alternate hypervisor migrations.
- Proven ability to deliver complex cutovers with minimal service disruption.
- Strong understanding of virtualization architectures in data center, hybrid, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans with milestones and timelines.
- Coordinate internal and external teams for seamless execution.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost controls.
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies; provide stakeholder updates.
- Lead project status meetings, risk reviews and post-implementation reviews.
- Drive communication across cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Apply Agile, Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with project governance and PM standards.
