Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Lead PMO governance professional to direct IT/OT implementation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering on time, within scope and budget. The role requires extensive program management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across business, technology, and operations.

You will steward PMO processes, templates, and reporting, and you will lead governance forums and executive updates.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident required due to client engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years post-graduation work experience in PMO/large-scale project delivery.
• Experience leading PMO functions, program management, or large enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO governance and execution for IT/OT implementation programs, ensuring alignment to business objectives, scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Drive program planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk and issue resolution, and executive-level status reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business, technology, operations, vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of complex transformation initiatives.
• Establish and maintain project management processes, standards, templates, and reporting practices to support consistent program delivery.
• Facilitate key meetings, steering committees, and governance forums; prepare concise updates, decision materials, and action tracking.
• Monitor program financials, resource allocations, and delivery performance, escalating concerns and recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, change management, and adoption across impacted teams.
