Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Lead PMO to govern and drive complex IT/OT transformation programs from strategy through delivery. You will align objectives with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards, while coordinating cross-functional teams and reporting to executives.

The role requires 7+ years of PMO leadership, IT/OT experience, and PMP/PgMP/PMI-ACP certification. Travel up to 50% and onsite work at Guidehouse offices or client sites are expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Resident required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 7+ years of work experience.
• Significant experience leading PMO functions, program management, or large-scale project delivery in an enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting IT and/or OT implementations, integrations, or transformation programs.
• Experience in regulated, industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or other operational environments involving IT/OT convergence.
• Project Management Certification (PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP).
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, governance, risk management, and portfolio reporting.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to work onsite in Guidehouse offices or client locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO governance and execution for IT/OT implementation programs, ensuring alignment to business objectives, scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Drive program planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk and issue resolution, and executive-level status reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business, technology, operations, vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of complex transformation initiatives.
• Establish and maintain project management processes, standards, templates, and reporting practices to support consistent program delivery.
• Facilitate key meetings, steering committees, and governance forums; prepare concise updates, decision materials, and action tracking.
• Monitor program financials, resource allocations, and delivery performance, escalating concerns and recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, change management, and adoption across impacted teams.
