Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a versatile IT/OT Specialist to bridge IT and manufacturing operations. You will manage endpoint devices, site infrastructure, and champion automation and cybersecurity standards to keep operations resilient and future-ready.

You’ll enable Industry 4.0 by partnering with manufacturing teams and our FIT group, ensuring high availability of office and shop-floor systems while maintaining an accurate CMDB and software licenses. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT/OT operations.
• Deep technical skills: troubleshooting computer, server, and network systems; solid grasp of LAN/WAN hardware.
• Digital Fluency: Google Workspace, basic Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity knowledge.
• Process-Driven Mindset: ITIL best practices to optimize incident resolution and workflows.
• Strong communication: translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education & Certifications: High School diploma; ITIL Foundation valued; Bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enable the Smart Factory by partnering with manufacturing teams and the FIT group to implement Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Be the Technical Bridge by providing expert support for Corporate IT and Factory IT infrastructure; ensure high availability.
• Master the Asset Lifecycle with procurement, provisioning, and decommissioning; maintain accurate CMDB and licenses.
• Champion Automation & Self-Service by identifying tasks to automate and shift to proactive operations.
• Advocate for Security & Best Practices; train local management on IT standards and cybersecurity.
